2 day agoUkraine’s General Staff reports a Russian combat icebreaker was hit during a joint operation in Leningrad region overnight on 25 March. The vessel was struck at Vyborg Shipyard and is preliminarily identified as the Project 23550 patrol icebreaker Purga, intended for Russia’s FSB Border Service.

Drone arriving from Russian airspace hits Auvere power plant chimney. The drone entered Estonian airspace from Russian airspace. Rescue Board deminers are operating on site, the proceedings are being led by the State Prosecutor's Office, and the case is being investigated by the Security Police Board. "According to current information, the drone was not directed at Estonia. Initial operations are currently being carried out, the investigation will clarify the more detailed circumstances," said State Prosecutor General Astrid Asi. According to Enefit Power's initial assessment, the power plant has no immediate damage and the incident will not have a significant impact on the Estonian electricity system.
